Registrants who select shared rooms will share a room with double queen beds with another participant.  Single occupancy rooms feature a king-sized bed and are perfect for those who prefer their privacy.  The couples package features a king-sized bed with all amenities/activities for two.

Little America

The Little America Hotel in Cheyenne offers 188 luxurious, oversized guestrooms, each with 37″ flat screen televisions, down pillows and other luxury amenities. The grounds provide lovely views of the Wyoming prairie and are beautifully landscaped with flower gardens.

Not only will Little America be the host hotel for this event but registrants will have the opportunity to play a round of golf on their nine hole golf course (additional fee), swim in their outdoor heated pool, play a round of volleyball, or partake in a game of horseshoes.

Terry Bison Ranch

Originally the South headquarters of the Warren Livestock Company, Terry Bison Ranch now encompasses 27,500 acres and crosses over into Colorado. 

Registrants will have the opportunity to take the world-famous Bison Train Tour Experience which includes the Dirty Dan MaGee Burger Fry.  That afternoon, registrants can select from a variety of activities at Terry Bison Ranch like horseback riding and fishing.

Curt Gowdy State Park

Located 24 miles west of Cheyenne, Curt Gowdy State Park is a public recreation area encompassing 3,395 acres.  Established in 1971, it was named for the well-known sportscaster Curt Gowdy.  The area is one of low-lying meadows, gently rolling hills, and massive steep granite formations.  Elevation ranges from 6,800 to 7,900 feet.

Registrants will enjoy the breathtaking views while hiking to the hidden falls.

Pine Bluffs Distilling

Pine Bluffs Distilling is Laramie County's first licensed distillery.  Born of humble origins as a home setup, the distillery is family owned and operated.  Pine Bluffs Distilling is a true soil to spirit operation.  All grains are sourced locally, within 30 miles, and malted on site.  Spirits are distilled and bottled on site.

 

Registrants will have the opportunity to tour the facility and enjoy a flight of spirits.

Downtown Experience

The Downtown Cheyenne Historic District is comprised of 96 buildings, 67 of which are considered contributing structures including the UPRR Depot, a National Historic Landmark.

Registrants will have the opportunity to hop a shuttle and explore Cheyenne's historic downtown.  Options include shopping, museums, walking history tour, trolley ride, and more.

Note: Registration fee does not include any purchases downtown which includes but is not limited to incidentals, trolley tickets, and/or museum admission fees.

The Hawthorn Tree

The Hawthorn Tree stocks over 150 different herbs, teas, and spices, and carries their own line of handcrafted bath and body products made on site.  They also offer classes on personal enrichment, herbalism, and how to make your own herbal products.

Registrants will have the opportunity to experience a peaceful meditation session incorporating the ritual of drinking tea.  In addition, they'll get to build their own bath salts while learning how incorporating different herbs and essential oils can create the perfect concoction to sooth those tired muscles and nerves.

No RaceCation is complete without a race!  We are pleased to offer all registrants entry into the Cheyenne Marathon event of their choosing; i.e., marathon, half marathon, or 5K.

Jill Lovato is co-owner of Blossom Yoga in Cheyenne, Wyoming where she leads wholehearted practices to bring peace and presence to everyday living. She draws on her extensive training in Hatha,Yin, and anatomy and her interest in eastern spiritual and health philosophies to offer classes, workshops, series, and trainings grounded in traditional yoga practices and accessible to yogis of all levels of experience.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I upgrade from the Cheyenne Marathon to the Cheyenne RaceCation?

Yes, you can upgrade anytime before August 17, 2022, at 11:59 pm if there are still spots available.  When upgrading from the Cheyenne Marathon to the Cheyenne RaceCation, you will automatically pay the difference between events.  This ensures that you are credited for the race fees you've already paid.  To upgrade:

  • Log into your RunSignUp Account

  • Go to Your Profile

  • View Your Events under Upcoming Events

  • Click Manage Registration next to the Registration you are Editing

  • Click Transfer to Another Race Located on the Top or Left of Race Page

  • Select the Appropriate Race and Click Start Transfer

Are children allowed?

No.  This event is limited to adults ages 21 or older since there is alcohol present at various times throughout the event.

Do I have to participate in all of the activities/events?

No, it is your vacation and your choice.  Please note that registration fees are calculated on the assumption that you will participate in all activities/events notated on the schedule.  There is no refund if you elect not to participate in a particular activity or event.

Is transportation provided from the airport?

We do not offer transportation between Little America and the airports.  

Are refunds allowed?

Participants who are unable to attend and request a refund on or before March 31st will receive a 75% refund. Participants who request a refund between April 1st and June 15th will receive a 50% refund. Participants who request a refund between June 15th and August 17th will receive a 25% refund. No refunds will be issued after August 17th.

 

Is event registration insurance available for purchase?

Yes, an option is offered at the end of the registration process to purchase event insurance.  This policy is billed separately. 

 

In the event that you are unable to attend the event for a number of reasons including covered injury, illness, traffic accidents, or requirement to work, you will be reimbursed up to 100%.  Insurance benefits are underwritten by Jefferson Insurance Company.
