Runners will drop into the valley, following Crow Creek. The course runs through the historic Wyoming Hereford Ranch. The course is primarily asphalt with hardpack/gravel intermittently.
The Archer Circle is asphalt. Once runners turn onto HR Ranch Road, they will be on gravel/hardpack for approximately 3 miles. Runners will continue down HR Ranch Road until it transitions to South Industrial at which time, they'll turn South onto Burlington Trail Road. Runners will take Burlington Trail, past Hereford Reservoir #1, all the way to Campstool and turn North. Approximately the last mile of Burlington Trail is gravel/hardpack. Runners will continue on Campstool and then turn right onto Hereford Ranch Road where'll they'll run past the historic Hereford Ranch buildings. The last half mile of Hereford Ranch Road is gravel/hardpack. Runners will head East on Campstool, passing Hereford Reservoir #2, before turning North onto Hales Ranch Road. Runners will follow Hales Ranch Road to Palen Road all the way to the end, before turning onto Stampede Ranch Road. They'll follow Stampede Ranch Road back to Hales Ranch Road which turns to gravel. Once you reach Morgan Ranch Road, you'll turn North and follow the loop back to Hales Ranch Road, which you'll stay on all the way back to HR Ranch Road. Runners will then turn North back towards Archer. At Prairie Center Circle, runners will be on asphalt for the final loop around Archer before reaching the finish line!
